First of all I wanted to let you know that unfortunately we will need to release Oak Hill High School at 12:30 January 12, 2018.

One can only hope that this is the final day we will need to do this.  This has certainly been a difficult situation for all of us as we work together to keep school in session and our students moving forward while at the same time addressing this very complicated water problem.  I appreciate all of the support and understanding that you all have shown throughout this process.

I wanted to take a moment and update you on where we are.  We have currently opened up an old well on the property.  We have received approval from the State to use this well with the understanding that we are under a "NO DRINK" order and can only use it for our bathrooms.   While this well does not have the capacity we require to run the entire building long term what it will do is allow us to open up all of the bathrooms and run a full day of school and potentially get us through the rest of the school year while we work on long term solutions. We are hopeful to  have it opened and hooked this weekend in time for school on Tuesday

As always if you have questions or concerns please feel free to contact my office.

Thank you,
Andrew Carlton
